DNT Launches HYDRA-Mini HS210M: One Thermal, Four Ways to Deploy

On September 16, DNT launches the HYDRA-Mini HS210M, a new-generation 4-in-1 thermal optic that adds Helmet-Mounted capability to the proven Standalone, Handheld, and Clip-On modes, all in a remarkably compact 11.3 oz package.

Standalone: A Dedicated Thermal Scope
As a standalone thermal scope, the HS210M delivers a 1x base magnification (1.14x actual) and a wide 30.7×23 yd field of view at 100 yards.
The wide view supports fast scanning, heat detection, and broad situational awareness at close to medium ranges, making the HS210M well suited for applications such as hog hunting and pest control.
Handheld: Thermal Observation on Demand
When you need to scan without a weapon-mounted setup, simply detach the HS210M and use it handheld.
At just 11.3 oz, its compact design makes it easy to carry while scanning, observing, and tracking heat signatures in the field.
Helmet-Mounted: Expand the Way Thermal Fits Into Night Vision
The HS210M expands the HYDRA platform with helmet-mounted capability, opening up new ways to combine thermal and night vision.
A compatible helmet shroud and mount, along with a Wilcox- or KVC/RQE-compatible dovetail binocular bridge, are required for helmet-mounted use.
Thermal for Detection, Night Vision for Aiming
Pair the HS210M with ZULUS V2 or ZULUS 4K to use thermal for rapid heat detection while relying on your digital day and night optic for aiming.
Dual Thermal for Wider FOV and Depth Perception
Use two HS210M units together to create a dual thermal setup. This configuration provides a wider field of view and enhanced depth perception for immersive thermal observation.
Add a Thermal Layer to Your NVG View
Combine the HS210M with NVG equipment to add thermal information to a conventional night vision view, helping reveal heat signatures that may be difficult to distinguish through night vision alone.
The result is a more flexible approach to nighttime observation, with thermal and night vision working together.
Clip-On: Turn Your Favorite Day Optic into a Thermal Powerhouse
The HS210M can also be mounted in front of a compatible day optic to add thermal capability without replacing the existing optic.
In Clip-On mode, the HS210M provides a fixed 1x thermal view, while the day optic handles magnification and aiming. For the best viewing experience, DNT recommends day optics with a 1–2x base magnification.
The day optic's reticle remains available for aiming and holdover, while the HS210M provides the thermal image.
QDF193: Switch Setups in Seconds
The HS210M comes standard with the QDF193 Dual Quick-Detach Flip-to-Side Mount, designed to make switching between mounted configurations fast and practical.
With the HS210M and QDF193 moving as one, you can switch between weapon-mounted and helmet-mounted configurations in seconds, minimizing downtime when your setup needs to change.
The QDF193 also provides reliable zero retention after removal and reattachment, helping maintain consistency when switching configurations.

With its ≤18 mK NETD thermal sensor and always-on AI-powered ISR, the HS210M delivers a clear thermal view for fast detection and target identification.

The HS210M uses one rechargeable 18650 battery at a time, providing approximately 7 hours of runtime per battery. Two rechargeable 18650 batteries are included, providing up to 14 hours of total runtime when used consecutively.
With 65 mm / 2.6 inches of eye relief, it provides a comfortable viewing experience across different deployment configurations.
Built for demanding field use, the HS210M also features IP67 waterproof and dustproof protection and is .50 BMG recoil rated.

Thermal observation doesn't have to end when the action is over.
The HS210M features onboard video and audio recording, making it easy to capture activity in the field. Press the Record button for instant recording, or use Recoil Activated Video (RAV) to automatically capture footage around the moment of recoil.
After a hunt or range session, recorded footage can be reviewed to examine shots, evaluate performance, or simply revisit what happened in the field.

The HS210M also works with the DNT App, extending the experience beyond the optic itself.
